Anah Shrine Postpones This Year’s Circus In Both Bangor & Presque Isle

You may not want to tell the kids about this one.

The Anah Shrine made the decision yesterday to postpone the annual Shrine Circus due to COVID-19 that is now sweeping the area.

The Circus was scheduled for May 1st through the 3rd at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, and then May 7th through the 9th in Presque Isle.

The letter posted to the Anah Shrine Facebook page cited the Governor's directive that all gatherings here in Maine not exceed 10 people.

We can only hope that when this pandemic ends and things become safe again that the Circus happens sometime before the end of the year and is cause for celebration.
