Bangor Beer Can Openers Come Up 28 Cans Short Of World Record [VIDEO]

Still, no reason to cry over spilled beer.

During last week's Annual Bangor Chamber Of Commerce Dinner at the Cross Insurance Center, 1,122 people simultaneously opened 1,122 cans of beer hoping to set a Guinness World record.

Unfortunately, when the Guinness people got back to the organizers, they were bummed to hear that at an event back in 2016 folks in Japan had opened 1,149.

Oh well, judging by the video above it looks as though last week's event here in Bangor was a whole lot of fun anyway!
