The City of Bangor recently made a change to how folks can register requests and communicate complaints.

Get our free mobile app

The old app people were encouraged to use to be able to use to alert Bangor officials of various problems within the Queen City is now obsolete, and there's a new app being used called SeeClickFix.

According to the City of Bangor Facebook Page, the new link can be used to report a number of different issues that folks might notice around town.

"Issues like a dangerous tree, broken streetlights, potholes, and litter can be addressed using SeeClickFix. Please note that the Go Bangor app that the City previously offered is no longer in use -- concerns and complaints should now be filed through SeeClickFix."

The SeeClickFix app is a very simple download that folks can get for their smartphone.

There's even a quick YouTube video that walks you through how to report an issue.

What are some of the different instances someone might need to reach out with a request?

Well, they have a list that includes reporting an abandoned shopping cart, or a browntail moth sighting, Syringe clean up, or even pointing out where different potholes pop up, or light fixtures go out.

If you do see something the City needs to deal with, just open the app, click the "New Request" button, follow the directions from there, and a ticket will be submitted to the appropriate department to be dealt with as soon as possible.  They'll even update you, through the app, on the progress being made on your specific request.
