Bangor State Fair Starts This Week

Wait What?! Yup. May be because we have had a bit of a slow start to our summer weather but time marches on and so does the Bangor State Fair which kicks off on Thursday July 25th.

Once again this year we will kicking things off with gates opening a 4 PM and then Fireworks on Thursday evening at 9 PM.  I love that. Some of the shows at this years 170th Bangor State Fair will include:

• Truck pulls at the Grandstand on Friday 7/26 & Saturday 7/27 - 7:00 PM
• Monday 7/29 - Thursday Aug 1  3 Shows - Cirque Extreme each day
• Friday 8/2 and Saturday 8/3 at - 7:00 PM - Demolition Derby

Along with these treats will be added the usual food, mechanical rides, photo contest, jugglers, old Mac Donald's Farm animal alley, pony rides and fun, fun, fun.

During the week gates will open at 2 PM and close at 9 PM.

Weekends hours are noon to 9 PM.

General admission is $7.00 and there are many different offers and specials for rides and special days that can be viewed here. There are many specials offered for veterans and on Tuesday 7/30 Seniors get in free all day.
