Bark For Life Comes Back To Bangor Raceway

This is such a cool event for anyone who loves dogs and can appreciate the difference a canine companion can make in the life of a cancer patient.

The 8th Annual Bark For Life which will be held on Friday benefits the American Cancer Society. It’s an event showcasing the relationship between cancer patients and their pets. Although Bark For Life organizers says that these events do not directly raise money to help dogs with cancer they encourage the thought that once there is a cure for humans, there will be a cure for all animals.

During the event at the Bangor Raceway on Friday there will be several activities and food options for participants and their dogs including:

• Carnival Games
• a Craft Beer Tent
• Cotton Candy
• Pompeii Pizza
• Spencer's Ice Cream
• Buffalo Wild Wings

Their encourages participation saying that,
