Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Nominees The Black Crowes Are Coming Back To Bangor

The Black Crowes seem to be "living their best lives" as they say.

Freshly nominated for the Class of 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame the Robinson brothers and their band also just re-released a 25th anniversary pressing of their collaboration "Live at the Greek" with none other than Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page.

The Black Crowes also released new music, last year. "Happiness Bastards" is the band's first new album in 15 years.

The Crowes were supposed to do a 22-date headline tour in support of their new album alongside Aerosmith's "Peace Out" Tour, but then Steven Tyler had vocal issues and Aerosmith had to cancel their leg of the performances.

The good news is, that they've reworked that tour and it just so happens, that the new Happiness Bastards tour will be making a stop in Bangor this summer.

Waterfront Concerts just announced that The Black Crowes will perform on the stage of the Maine Savings Amphitheater on Tuesday, July 29, and tickets for the show are set to go on sale this week.

The presale starts Thursday, March 27th at 10 a.m. Use the presale code "Outro" when signing up.

For the general public, tickets will go on sale Friday, March 28 at 10 AM.

Known for their rocking bluesy blend of ballads like "She Talks To Angels" and bangers like "Hard To Handle" the black Crowes are ever the rock stars when they hit the stage.

They played the Waterfront Pavillion years ago, opening for Grace Potter and The Nocturnals in Bangor, oozing the attitude of rockers who have spent decades on the road, having a really good time.

I will be curious to see what songs they choose to bring back from their older albums and which newer ones strike a chord with the audience.
