Brewer Student Wins A Ride To School Aboard A Fire Truck

What a special day for Lilian!

Lilian is a student at the Brewer Community School, and her poster in the Brewer Public Safety “Character Counts; Be a Good Citizen” contest won first prize!

So, Lilian got to chose her ride to school this morning, it could be either with the Brewer Police Department or the Brewer Fire Department.  Lilian chose a ride aboard the Fire Department's big ladder truck, and of course she was delivered safe as safe could be to the School on Pendleton Street.

Lilian must have been pretty excited to have won the contest and with her ride, but she looked pretty calm when departing the big red truck.  Although, we know that it will be a memory of a lifetime.
