Bucksport Bay Festival Starts Friday [INFO]

Hard to imagine but Bucksport , Maine is turning 225! For many years now I have rolled down Bucksport way to the Bay Festivals to enjoy the crafts and the music but this year there is so much more!

Bucksport 225 Bay Fest 2017 starts off festivities on Friday during the day will be the Miss Bucksport Bay Pageant then Friday night there is a street dance on Main Street. Then on Saturday get ready because there is a full day of things to do and see:

• Bucksport Bay Festival 5k begins at 8AM, a Sub5 Track Club race
• Parade steps off at 9:30 am
• Live music all day
• A Brewfest
• Dinghy Race
• Antique Car Show
• Fishing Derby
• Pizza cook off
• Movie at The Alamo Theatre
• Plenty of food vendors
• Local craftsmen
• Timber Tina's Great Maine Lumberjack Show
• Tim Sample at 6pm
• Fireworks over the Bay

Plus participation from local shops and restaurants, art galleries and ice cream
