Celebrating Halloween Creatively in Downtown Bangor
Well of course. It's what they do. It's what we expect.
The members of the Penobscot Theatre Company have dreamed up a unique, and a creative way to celebrate Halloween. You got a mask, right. And you probably have a costume you can wear already figured out. Or something that you can put together for Halloween. Easy. Now the fun part.
Penobscot Theatre Company will host a drive-up, contactless trick or treating event. It's all treats here. Here's your chore. Dress up your car. That's it. If your car tells you it wants to be a witch, that's how you decorate your car. A ghost. A goblin. A Princess. A Cowboy. Get the family involved and brainstorm over an idea and how to execute the plan. Will all the crazy traditions we'll have to by pass in this 'Rona year, this sounds like a pretty desirable distraction. Your car is a blank canvas. Decorate it.
Two winners will receive a Digitus Theatrum household subscription for the 2020/2021 season.
The event is this Saturday outside the Bangor Opera House, on Maine Street downtown, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sure sounds like a fun visual. Gotta bet there's some treat. I know. I'm decorating my car as, ready? The Bat Mobile.
