I know that's a rhetorical question, but seriously.... I feel like this gets filed under the category of cruel and unusual punishment. As long as I can remember, I've always thought of May 1st as the check mark for winter being officially over. I've never had snow on my lawn on the first. Never. I probably won't this year either, but still...

This year though, I feel like all bets are off. It's almost like Mother Nature gets that we're all staying home, and she's just twirling in circles in her front yard with no clothes on, throwing weird weather wherever she wants. I woke up with snow on my deck this morning, but it's supposed to be 55 degrees by the afternoon. What is that?!

It makes me wonder what summer is going to look like. Will it be normal? Or will it be -45 and cloudy during the day, then 642 degrees at night, with 300% humidity? Who knows? People complain that weather men are wrong all the time, but really, I think they probably have it right, but then Mother Nature just says 'Hold my beer'....

But here's the thing... maybe there's a lesson here for where our life is at right now. We're all anxious to do our thing and get life back to normal, but nature's gonna nature. Patience comes hard these days, and all we can do is try and look forward. Eventually, summer will come around, and maybe help clear out the winter in our minds as well.

Until then, stay positive. You're awesome.
