With coronavirus top of mind and an apparent hand sanitizer shortage occurring, it seems that folks are now improvising ways to make their own hand sanitizer. One such person bragged of making it out of Tito's Vodka, one of the more popular adult beverages out there on the shelves, or in your office drawer.

So, you shouldn't use Tito's to produce hand sanitizer, but you really want to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. What other booze should you use? Well, not these:

• Fireball Cinnamon Whisky - 33%
• Jack Daniels - 35%
• Captain Morgan's Rum - 35%

Nope, don't use any of those. Use these:

• Barcardi 151 Rum - 75% volume.
• Everclear Grain Alcohol - 95%
• Clarke's Court Spicy Rum - 69%

Now the folks at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention say the best thing to do to avoid a virus is to wash your hands often with hot water and soap for 20 seconds.  About the time it takes to sing Happy Birthday....which may actually take you a bit little longer after partaking in a few of the adult beverages listed above.
