Here's how to properly get rid of that 300 lbs. Sony TV from back in the 90s.

The Challenger Learning Center at 30 Venture Way in Bangor will hold it's annual E-Waste Disposal event this Saturday, September 14th, between 8 a.m. and 12 noon.

They'll accept stuff like computer monitors, computers, fax machines, TVs, cell phones, laptops, and various other things.  They will not accept air conditioners, smoke detectors, thermostats, light bulbs or batteries.  A full listing can be found here.

The Challenger Learning Center promotes science and math learning among Maine students.  This e-waste disposal event is not free.  There is a suggested donation of $10 for the first item, and then $5 for each additional item.
