Ellsworth Will Have A City Christmas Tree + Christmas Parade Info

The City of Ellsworth will have an 18 foot tall Christmas tree placed within S.K. Whiting Park this year!

The very large tree, provided by Atlantic Landscaping of Ellsworth, will feature over 2400 lights, and will brighten the "crossroads" at the intersection of State, High and Main Streets.

The Christmas Tree lighting will take place at 4:30PM on Friday, the 25th,  EVERYONE IS INVITED - BRING YOUR CAMERA! The lighting of the Tree will officially kick-off the holiday shopping season in Ellsworth, and the event will include music along with a local group selling hot cocoa.

This year's Downtown Holiday Marketplace will include nine "pop-up" shops located within the old Grasshopper Shop!  Those shops will be: La Petite Bakery, Sullivan Harbor Farm Smoked Sea Products, M Designs Jewelry, Three Wishes, Maine Alpaca Experience, Elizabeth’s form Hilts Landscaping in Hancock, Gull Rock Pottery, Sea Crow Company, and Downeast Cheesecakes!

By the way, the annual Downtown Christmas Parade will happen the following weekend, on Saturday, December 3rd, at 11AM!  This will mark the OFFICIAL ARRIVAL OF SANTA CLAUS TO ELLSWORTH!
