Ellsworth Woman Wins National Bagger Competition

I bagged my own groceries this past Saturday at Hannaford and realized that I was a novice when the chicken smelled like dryer sheets.

Congratulations to Nicole Cote of Ellsworth, who works at Hannaford in Bar Harbor!

Yesterday was a BIG day for Nicole, as she won the National Grocers Association's 2020 Best Bagger Championship by beating 21 other contestants!  Nicole won a whopping $10,000 as the grand prize.

I'm going to have to skip past the Ellsworth Hannaford this Saturday and do our shopping at the one in Bar Harbor just to see exactly how it's done right!  Way to go Nicole!
