Flick Chick here once again in the pursuit of truth, justice and keeping you from spending your hard earned money on movies that don’t make the grade! Over the weekend put my detective skills to work and hunted down 'Walk Through The Tombstones' at the Bangor Mall Cinemas.

This movie runs just under 2 hours, is an action, crime, mystery and is Rated R for strong violence, disturbing images, language and brief nudity This film stars Liam Neeson, Ruth Wilson, Dan Stevens, Sebastian Roché, Mark Consuelos
Summary:

Base on the tenth book  in a series by author Lawrence Block. This film's main character  Matthew Scudder (Liam Neeson)  is a one-time  alcoholic cop who accidentally kills an innocent girl causing him to sober up and leave the force.  After hanging up his badge and joining AA he  becomes an off the grid private investigator who in this film is hired by a drug kingpin to find out who kidnapped and murdered his wife.

Review:

Liam Neeson always does such an incredible job bringing a character to life and he still has everything he needs to play a very physical role. However you still need to have a good script in order to have a great film and this did not. Although taken from a best selling book the story was hard to follow at times.  It almost seemed as if they intended to show this only to those who were book fans which is never a really good idea. I did like his friendship with TJ a young homeless kid.  It gave the movie a little redemption. Not horrible but on a scale of 1-10, I can only give 'Walk Through The Tombstones' a 7.

Show me everything playing right now at the Bangor Mall Cinemas
