Bangor Public Works is dealing with flooding issues, including on Perry Road, which is closed at this hour.

The City of Bangor posted a flooding alert on its Facebook page, stating that Perry Road in Bangor is closed at the overpass, due to flooding. They report one vehicle has already stalled out in the middle of the road, which will remain closed until the water subsides. Drivers are advised to find alternate routes.

In addition, city officials report that public works employees are dealing with flooding in several locations around Bangor, being caused by wet leaves clogging up catch basins. Motorists should use caution today, and be prepared for some detours and delays. Remember, it's never wise to drive through standing water. Instead, find a way to navigate around.
