For The 1st Time Ever, L.L. Bean In Freeport Locks The Doors
Another Maine institution is taking precautions when it comes to COVID-19.
The the first time in the history of the store, locks have been put on the front door, and the very popular flagship store in Freeport will close for longer than 24 hours.
In a posting to Facebook, L.L. Bean officials stated, "nothing is more important during these challenging times than the health and well-being of our employees, customers and greater communities."
Yes, history is certainly being made during these crazy times, a the post went on to say, "this will include our Flagship stores in Freeport, marking only the fifth time in our company’s history that this location will close (and the first time ever for more than 24 hours)."
