Friday Morning Power Outage Hits Orono Area

Crews from Emera Maine are investigating the cause.

As of 10:06am this Friday, July 12th, Emera Maine was reporting 4723 customers in the Orono area without electrical service.  Some of those homes and businesses had service restored quickly, due to crews re-routing circuits.

At this moment, there is no guesstimation as to when power will be restored to these customers.
