Grammy Award Winning Louisiana Cajun Band BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet To Play Bar Harbor Criterion

BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, an American Cajun band from Louisiana, will play the historic 1932 Criterion in Bar Harbor on Sunday, August 27th!  What a great band to have in-town this summer!

The band is responsible for some of the best Cajun music on the planet, and according to a Criterion press release, "BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet has been making some of the most potent and popular Cajun music on the planet. Born out of the rich Acadian ancestry of its members and created and driven by bandleader Michael Doucet’s spellbinding fiddle playing and soulful vocals."

The band has a big fan base in Maine after playing the American Folk Festival in Bangor and also at The Strand in Rockland just last year.
