Bangor Police say a 10-year-old boy has died after a single-vehicle crash on Harlow Street Saturday evening.

It was approximately 6:41 when Bangor Fire and Northern Light EMMC ambulance crews responded to a serious crash on Harlow Street. A silver minivan, driven by 49-year-old Stephen Fiddie of Hermon, had run headlong into a building located at 408 Harlow Street. The front passenger, 50-year-old Holly Fiddie of Levant, had to be extricated from the vehicle. Both adults were taken to the hospital.

First responders removed the rear passenger, 10-year-old Micah Fiddie of Levant, and immediately initiated emergency medical treatment. Micah was also taken to the hospital, where he passed away.

Bangor Police describe this as a terrible accident, and send their deepest condolences to the Fiddie family and their friends. We, at Townsquare Media, echo those condolences.

The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
