I was turned onto this concept a couple of years ago, and like most things I read on the internet, I wasn't 100% sure it would work. Because, again, anytime I read anything in meme form, I assume it to be basically false. But this seemed like such a great idea, my friends and I had to try it for ourselves.

So the deal is... You take the song 'In the Air Tonight' by Phil Collins, and you start the song at exactly 11:56 and 40 seconds. As the song goes along, obviously it gets more intense. If you hit play at just the right moment, the big drum fill will hit right at midnight!

Sure it's cheesy as heck, but it's pretty fun. Trust me, we tried it for the first time a couple years ago, and now it's straight up tradition. So I can personally tell you it works. You just need to make sure whatever clock you're using is set to the correct time, and BOOM! You're off to the races.

Try it yourself this year, and have some fun with it. Believe me, it's quite satisfying to have a room full of folks that are half in the bag, all air drumming to Phil Collins. At the very least, it's quite the sight!

Anyhow.... Happy New Year everyone!!! Be safe, and we'll see you next year!
