Here’s What Maine Kids Can’t Do At School This Year

Yup, vice principals throughout the entire state will be keeping an eye on this situation, in the halls, in the bathrooms and the parking lot, and in the woods.
Vaping. If it hasn't been banned at a Maine school already, it will soon be a big no-no on any school grounds shortly.
The law here in Maine, An Act To Prohibit the Possession and Use of Electronic Smoking Devices on School Grounds, takes effect on Thursday, September 19th.
A survey taken back in 2017 here in Maine tells us that 33% of Maine school kids have tried e-cigarettes and other vaping devices, and 15% of them use them on a regular basis.
The ban on vaping and the overall use of tobacco products includes places like onboard school buses and at school events as well.
