Here’s Where Veterans Can Eat For Free In Ellsworth

As a thank you for your service, and to celebrate peace, here is where our military veterans can eat for nothing this Sunday and Monday in the Ellsworth area.

On Sunday, November 11th, Ellsworth Elks Lodge #2743 will be serving up an entire day of free meals!  It starts with breakfast, of course, between 6 and 9 a.m.  That is followed by a spaghetti dinner for lunch between 12:30 and 2, and then hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs and fries will be served up for dinner between 4 and 7!  The Ellsworth Elks Lodge is on Route 3 in Ellsworth.  Go up the hill from High Street and it's just past Brown Appliance.

Meanwhile the following day, Monday, November 12th, Northern Light Health hospitals in both Blue Hill and Ellsworth will offer a free lunch to all area veterans between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the cafeterias.  The hospital in Ellsworth is on Union Street, while the hospital in Blue Hill is on Water Street.
