Tonight’s mystery artist had a classical voice coach say she wished she could work with him because of his amazing voice and range. Think you know who our heavy metal Pavarotti might be??

I found this on a site called ‘Invisible Oranges’. They had asked a classically-trained vocal coach Claudia Friedlander to give her opinions on 5 Heavy Metal singers. In the end she said there was only one she thought had the voice and vocal range to be trained as a classically singer and that was Rob Halford of Judas Priest. Claudia says of Rob, he has a fabulous range and lovely phrasing. She adds that he demonstrates ‘”Mad Skills”.
