Tonight’s mystery artist was the only rock star member of the Friar’s Club which is really a fraternity of comedians the likes of Bob Hope, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Think you know they’d welcome as one of their own?

I found this interesting affiliation in an interview between Pastor Greg Laurie and Alice Cooper. Alice explains how at the Friar's Club these seasoned comedians viewed his stage show as a kind of vaudeville act. It was in that view they welcomed him in as a fellow showman and comedian to be a member of the club. He also tells in the video below how having a hit song is like finding a golden ticket and how at one time he though he might need to kill Alice in order to survive.
