Some people don’t dread Monday’s as much as you might think. New research has found that Monday may in fact be the most relaxing day of the week with Wednesday said to be the day we all dread.

Increasingly more people look forward to Monday as a chance to recover from a busy weekend and enthusiastically plan the week ahead.

It seems the Monday blues have been banished, with seven in 10 people insisting it’s not the worst day.

A Daily Mail  Psychologist Honey Langcaster-James  wrote :

'Feeling a dip in mood in the middle of the week is quite common.

'That’s when especially women often start to feel overwhelmed by tasks mounting on their "to do" lists while they see the week rapidly slipping by.

'As they realize they haven’t made as much progress as they might have wished, the emotional high and optimism from the positive start at the beginning of the week has waned by Wednesday.

'This leaves one feeling lack luster with no weekend in sight.'

In addition,  a stressed-out 73 percent find weekends are often at least as stressful as the work week.
