Governor Mills signed a bill this week called "An Act To Reduce Youth Cancer Risk."

What the new law essentially states is that no one under 18 can now walk into a tanning business and use a tanning bed from this point on.

Business owners are to put up signage within their establishments that clearly state this, as well as defining the risks associated with tanning, such as skin cancer and premature aging of the skin.

Customers of all ages will now be required to wear protective eyewear, and customers will not be allowed to tan more than once within a 24 hour period as well.
