Four people are facing charges after a drug bust in Kenduskeag that resulted in a large seizure of drugs.

A Drug Bust in Kenduskeag, Maine Resulted in the Arrests of 4 People

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office has identified the four people arrested in this incident:

  • James Cook, 32, of Kenduskeag, is charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, violation of conditional release, and an active warrant for eluding an officer.
  • Eva Peterson, 30, of Kenduskeag, is charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
  • Stuart Fairweather, 37, of Newport, is charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, violation of conditional release, and was placed on a probation hold.
  • Troy Bryant, 50, of Kenduskeag, is charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and was placed on a probation hold.

Maine Deputies Seize A Variety of Drugs from a Kenduskeag Home

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at a residence on Townhouse Road in Kenduskeag.

The warrant was obtained after a months-long investigation into drug trafficking from the home.

That search resulted in the seizure of nearly a kilo (combined) of several drugs, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and other assorted drugs.

A stolen vehicle was also recovered from the scene.

This investigation was a collaborative effort between several state and Federal agencies.

Officials say the investigation remains active.
