The Celtics’ first-round playoff loss to the rival Philadelphia 76ers has raised several questions heading into the 2026 offseason.

With Boston expected to explore changes this summer, MassLive’s Brian Robb outlined a possible scenario in which the Celtics could pursue LeBron James in free agency.

Robb wrote that James could be one of the bigger wildcards in free agency if the Lakers look to build a younger supporting cast around Luka Doncic.
