
Lil Wayne Says Health Issues Led to Missed Bangor Waterfront Show
The rapper, who has since rescheduled the concert with the venue, is now sharing what specifically kept him from performing on June 30th.

Lil Wayne made national headlines after missing the Bangor opener of his 20 Years of Carter Classics tour at Maine Savings Amphitheater in June.
After opener 2 Chainz performed, concertgoers waited through a lengthy delay before being told around 11 p.m. that Lil Wayne would not take the stage, with the show later rescheduled for July 28th.

In a social media video, Lil Wayne addressed his absence from the opening date of his tour, saying his doctor advised him not to fly after he experienced severe migraines related to his history with epilepsy.
He said he is doing well now and is ready to continue the tour after health concerns forced him to miss the first stop.
