A man who was the subject of a massive manhunt in Old Town/Orono overnight is now in custody.

Nathan Lagasse, 27, was booked into the Penobscot County Jail just after 1:00 am on Friday, after multiple police agencies spent hours looking for him.

He's charged with:

Domestic violence elevated aggravated assault
Kidnapping
Obstructing justice

WABI-TV reports Lagasse allegedly assaulted a female, who suffered injuries to her head and upper body.

The woman is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic No Longer Being Detoured on Stillwater Avenue Between Bangor and Orono

Traffic was detoured off Stillwater Avenue for most of the afternoon, while the police searched for Lagasse.

Motorists were asked to avoid the area until this incident can be resolved.
