First Annual Mother-Son Dance at the Brewer, Maine Parks and Recreation

Boy moms, here is a save-the-date you won't want to miss.

The Brewer Parks and Recreation Department is known for its amazing father-daughter dance that they host every February, but another Brewer committee usually hosted a mother-son dance -- until this year. When the Brewer Parks and Recreation Department heard that it was no longer going to be having its dance, it decided to release a 'save the date' for its own Mother-Son Dance for the spring of 2024.

Brewer Parks and Recreation Department released a 'saved the date' for its first annual Mother-Son Dance on May 10, 2024. The dance is themed 'An Evening Under the Stars' and is for gentlemen in Kindergarten through grade 6, plus their guests.

I had a conversation with a Brewer Parks and Recreation Department employee and she said they are very excited to host this dance. She stated they were still working out the details but are hoping to have some light food and refreshments during the dance and will have it decorated to match their theme 'An Evening Under the Stars.'

I am very excited about this dance because I have a 7-year-old son whom I can't wait to bring. I plan on making a night out of it with a trip to his restaurant of choice before we hit the dance floor. I have already picked out our dancing shoes and Sunday best to wear.

The date for this magical Mother Son night is May 10th and will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
