The lights are on, but it seems no one is home.

If you happen to drive down Main Street in Bangor, past the Tim Hortons, it might have caught your eye, that the parking lot is always empty, and that when you cruise by at night, the store awning is lit up, with a light on in front of the entrance.

This particular Tim Horton's location has had a few changes over the past few years. The 444 Main Street store closed back in December of 2021, due to the staffing issues that have plagued many businesses, since the pandemic started, back in 2020.

After being closed for about 14 months, they re-opened the doors, just a little over a year ago, on February 3rd, of 2023. As of today, it is open... just not after 1:30 p.m.

According to the Tim Hortons website, the location is open from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on weekdays.

It is a bit confusing that the doors aren't open later, since it is in such a popular, well-traveled part of Bangor, that is very close to the Cross Insurance Center, Hollywood Casino, and the Maine Savings Amphitheatre concert site.

If you need your fix after 1:30 p.m., you can still get it at their Bangor locations at 594 Broadway, 301 Odlin Road, and at 394 Wilson Street, in Brewer.

For those of you who don't know, Tim Hortons, is a Canadian chain for signature premium-blend coffee, plus light fare, pastries & breakfast sandwiches.
