Local Bangor & Brewer Brewery Crafting A New Brew For Fundraising Event

YUM! Get ready to belly up for a worthy cause!

$1 "per pour" will be donated to the Brewer Professional Firefighters Local 2162 efforts to collect funds for Cancer Care of Maine through the Champion the Cure Challenge, according to press release from Geaghan Bros. Brewing Co.

The folks at the brewery and the Brewer Professional Fighters are actually creating the recipe for the new brew that will be featured during the events at the Geaghan Bros. Brewing Tasting Room in Brewer at 34 Abbott Street, Sunday, June 24th at 4:30 and Monday, June 25th at 5pm.

"We were looking for a unique way to give back to the community, and this cause really hits home," said Kevin Thibodeau, Brewer Fire Local 2162 President. "This effort was spearheaded by a couple of our members who reached out to Geaghan's to see if they were interested in partnering. We are looking forward to the release next month, and thank them for partnering with us on this effort."
