Local Motorcycle Club President Hurt In Bangor Crash
A local motorcycle club president suffered serious injuries in a crash Tuesday night in Bangor, according to a GoFundMe account set up to benefit the victim.
Brian McLaughlin, 58, was transported to the hospital after his bike collided with the back of a car on Broadway, WABI reported.
"Our Marine brother and President of the Jarheads MC was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident is now in a medically-induced coma, "the GoFundMe account reads. "This man has stepped up-to-the plate so many times for his fellow veterans, it's our turn to repay the favor."
The fundraising goal listed on the account Wednesday night was $2,500. That money will help "cover his/his family's immediate needs," and McLaughlin "will likely have far more extensive needs moving forward."
The crash Tuesday night in Bangor remains under investigation.
