This self-described tomboy from Maine has really made a name for herself, and now we've learned she has beaten cancer!

Erin Andrews, Fox Sports TV analyst and Dancing With The Stars, host has just revealed her battle with cervical cancer.

Andrews was diagnosed with the disease during a routine check up back in September, and has since undergone successful surgery.  Just this week Andrews declared herself cancer free.

She also revealed that she worked for Fox Sports the weekend following the surgery, and kept what was going on to herself. "Let's just say the doctor didn't recommend that", Andrews said in an interview with MMQB Sports Illustrated.  She also said this past Tuesday, "I'm not watching any football games at home.  This is Fox's Super Bowl year, and I'm not missing the Super Bowl!"

Good for her!  This girl from Maine really is a trooper, and kicks some serious ass!

Erin Andrews was born in Lewiston in 1978 to Paula Andrews, a teacher, and Steven Andrews, a TV journalist, according to Wikipedia.  At the age of 5 the family moved out of state.

Back in 2008, Andrews won a $55 million judgement from Nashville Marriott when a stalker secretly taped her as she was getting dressed through a hotel room's peephole.
