Kathy Harvey and her family have been serving the greater Bangor area for many years. With a great heart for the community many know her best for her former ‘Hands of Hope Thrift Store’ and her ‘Smile For A Child’ Christmas program that in the past has gifted more than 1200 children a year with gifts at Christmas time. And now you can be a part of her latest venture.

A little history of her journey, Kathy's first furniture store was located in Hands of Hope on Odlin Road. She then expanded her business to Brewer where the existing Tiller and Rye is located. Her next growth spurt was to the Airport Mall and now with the purchase of the former Macy’s building Furniture Mattresses and More (pictures below) will be bigger and better than ever. The grand opening will be held this Saturday. They will be holding a ribbon cutting Saturday at 9AM. The public is encouraged to attend the ceremony into their newest adventure! Attendees are asked to use mall entrance to enter. To celebrate they will be signing up visitors for 2 free cruises for 2, no purchase necessary.

And just as before with a heart to help everyone have their dream home Furniture Mattresses and More will be offering 18 months “0” interest take it home today with no money down. Also coming in August exclusive to this area they will be carrying the very popular Magnolia Homes by Joanna Gaines from HGTV's 'Fixer Uppers'.
