New Maine Law: Pregnant Woman To Pregnant Person?

The Maine Legislature's Judiciary Committee is working on a bill today to further protections for pregnant workers from discrimination at work.

The current Maine law now says that any employer who treats a pregnant woman different than other employees is discriminating.

Among other things within the newly submitted bill, one thing would be to change "pregnant woman" to "pregnant person."
