An Ohio man who made a DUI confession video that has gone viral has officially been charged with vehicular homicide.  22 year old Matthew Cordle was allegedly driving drunk when he cause the death of a 62 year old Navy vet on June 22nd.  He was charged with the crime this past Monday.

Cordle's blood alcohol content measured 0.19 directly following the accident.

In the aftermath, his video clip was professionally made and is part of a campaign called "Because I Said I Would".

He starts the video out by saying, "My name is Matthew Cordle, and on June 22, 2013, I hit and killed Vincent Canzani," he says. "This video will act as my confession."

Cordle's lawyer says that the video was not made in order to possibly receive a reduced sentence. Cordle faces up to 8 1/2 years in prison if convicted.
