Penobscot Theatre Announces 51st Season Lineup
As Penobscot Theatre gets ready to wrap it's 50th Season, with its latest production "Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play" and next month's "Little Shop of Horrors", the organization is looking to the future, and what the next season has in store for folks in Bangor.
The theatre's Artistic Director, Jonathan Berry, joined Executive Director Jen Shepard in a video shared online, which outlined titles theatre-goers could expect from the company this coming 51st season.
Plays that will be produced during the next season include "Birthday Candles", "Dial M For Murder", "Matinicus: A Lighthouse Story", "Mother Russia", "A Christmas Carol", and Richard O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Show."
Berry and Shepard say there will also be other projects and collaborations the folks at Penobscot Theatre plan to participate in throughout the year. You can check their Facebook Page for details.
They will also hold General Auditions for this upcoming season on May 10th and 11th.

For one night only, Penobscot Theatre will also be hosting an iconic 80s kid classic "The Goonies" up on the big screen at the Bangor Opera House. Starting at 6:30 on Wednesday evening, they'll offer a Pay-what-you-wish option to check out the flick. You can find details and buy tickets here.
