I know every year when we do the Pasta Drive in February we are told this will hold them until the Postal Collection in May.  It is important to our food cupboards and friend and neighbors in need.

According to the NALC webpage

"With one in six Americans either living at risk of hunger or not knowing where their next meal will come from, the Letter Carriers’ Food Drive is just as important today as the first one was back in 1992."

It is so simple to do too.  On Saturday just bag up some non perishables and leave them out by the mailbox.  Mail comes...Contribution goes and hungry families are cared for. I like it.
