This year marks the 167th year of the Springfield Fair!

It all kicks off this Friday, September 1st, at 9AM, with Woodsman's Day!  How's your pulp tossing and log rolling skills?  Not so good?  Then watch the pros compete throughout the day!

The Midway officially opens at 10AM this Friday, which is also Military Night, which means free admission to all those active and retired military.  Remember to present your ID at the gate!  General admission for all others this Friday is $7.

The gates to the Springfield Fair open at 8Am this Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Labor Day.

Saturday is Children's Day, where kids under 15 get in for $5.  It's $10 admission for everyone else.

Sunday is Police Recognition Day and also 4-H Demonstration Day, where all members of law enforcement and the 4-H are admitted free!  Everyone else pays $15.  Your admission fee also covers the Adam Wakefield concert which begins at 7:30!  Adam Wakefield appeared on The Voice and will hit the stage at 6PM!

Monday, September 4th, is Senior Citizen's Day, where those 62 and over get in for nothing.  For everyone else, admission is $5 for ages 3-15, and $10 for those 16 and older.

All parking within the Fairgrounds is $3.  No pets other than service dogs are allowed on the Fairgrounds.  The Springfield Fairgrounds is located on Route 169, and is about 70 miles away from Bangor.

Other events include the Big Time Demo Derby on Friday at 3PM, a Classic, Antique, and Pickup/Car Show on Sunday beginning at 11AM, and the Horse Show beginning at 9AM on Monday.  For a complete listing of what's going on during this year's Springfield Fair, go HERE!
