Four Vermont State Legislators have submitted a bill that would decriminalize the sex trade in Vermont, opening up the door for legalized prostitution.

The purpose of the bill would be to protect those in the sex trade, making both healthcare and police protection available to those that would need it.

Another point expressed by Representative Selene Colburn of Vermont is, "“The underlying question is do we need to criminalize consensual sex between adults on any terms?,” she told Boston.com.
