New Maine made music, just in time for the holidays. The Ghost of Paul Revere has new sounds out now.

Buxton-based group, The Ghost of Paul Revere, have released the third installment of their "Field Notes" EP series. The group announced the new works on “Field Notes Vol. 3” earlier this week. The EP features seven tracks of what the band says features unheard studio cuts, and live recordings. Select Maine Bull Moose stores are selling physical copies of the new EP.

Recently, The Ghost of Paul Revere performed in downtown Ellsworth at The Grand.

2021 has been a good year for the band. Earlier this year, the group's music was snuck into an episode of SEAL Team on CBS. Season 4, episode 9, "Reckoning," featured the song "Good At Losing Everything." The song was hard to hear, as it was playing on a jukebox in the background. If you listen closely near the end of the episode, during the bar scene, you'll faintly hear the song.

The song is found on most recent full-length project from the folk group, which was released back in August of 2020. The 12-song record, titled Good at Losing Everything, is the group's fifth full-length studio album. Vocalist and guitarist, Griffin Sherry, says "I hope people listen, really listen, to this record as whole. It ebbs and flows between each of us, encapsulates a band at the edge of defying what defined us but one that still remembers who we were and what we can be." The album is now streaming on all major platforms.
