This Saturday & Sunday Is A Free Fishing Weekend In Maine

This weekend marks one of two free fishing weekends in the state of Maine!  This Saturday and Sunday, June 1st & 2nd, anybody other than those whose license has been suspended or revoked, can fish free without a license, according to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.

This is a great opportunity to take the kids to the pond, lake or stream, and teach them how to fish!

The first free fishing weekend in Maine has already taken place.  It happened this past February.
