I have always been a lover of Boothbay. This year I missed Windjammer Days but this could be a whole new experience.

That is because the largest modern viking ship Draken Harald Hårfagre has set sail for several east coast ports on her Expedition America - East Coast Tour 2018. While in port the viking crew of the Draken will offer tours of the vessel to Boothbay residents and visitors. You'll also have a chance to meet the crew and explore the wooden ship itself all the way from the wooden dragon head and tail to its 260 square meters of silk sail.

Click here to see the story of how the largest viking ship of modern days came to be built, it is quite an adventure in itself. As you can see in their tweet if you miss it in Boothbay  you'll have another chance in Rockland next weekend as well.

Check his bad boy out.
