Two Maine Adult Beverage Makers Producing Hand Sanitizer

With hand sanitizer inventories at an all time low because of the pandemic, two of Maine's biggest producers of alcoholic beverages are jumping into the game.

Maine Craft Distilling in Portland is already producing hand sanitizer in a 750 ml bottle at 65% alcohol by volume.  The cost is $3 per bottle and it available for curbside pickup or delivered for an extra $5.  Limit one per customer.

Meanwhile, the makers of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, The Sazerac Company, will soon start producing hand sanitizer at it's production facility in Lewiston, along with it's other 9 facilities across the country.  According to officials, the company has received orders for over five million of the bottles already.
