It's a big weekend at the Camden Snow Bowl!

Hundreds of teams, some dressed in costume, will take to the 400-foot-long wooden chute and reach speeds of up to 40 mph for the 2018 U.S. National Toboggan Championships, otherwise known as the "Mardi Gras Of Maine!"  Not only is this a whole bunch of fun for the teams but for those watching as well!  With great food, music, vendors with just about everything for sale, and plenty of fast-paced fun, you just can't go wrong!

The fun starts this Friday, February 9th, when the Toboggan chute opens to public and racers alike.  It's only $5 per rider for the ride of a lifetime!  Don't forget your toboggan!

Official racing happens both Saturday and Sunday, featuring 2, 3 and 4 person teams with names like Hot Ruddered Bums, The Four Ash Wipes, Poop Chute, Wood Boogers, and Old Enough To Know Better.  Awards are given out for the fastest times in categories like 2, 3, and 4 person teams, oldest team, student and college teams and best costumed teams.
