U.S. Navy Blue Angels Part Of Maine’s Bicentennial This Summer
It's been a few years since this most impressive aerobatic show has appeared here in Maine, so we imagine that folks will come out in droves for it.
The Great State Of Maine Airshow will take place this coming August, the 15th & 16th, at the Brunswick Executive Airport, and for the first time in three years the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels will perform and headline the show.
The Blue Angels consist of six Navy fighter planes sometimes flying as close as 18 inches from each other. The squadron began entertaining audiences across the country and beyond back in 1946.
The airport on Terminal street in Brunswick will be fortunate enough to host one of thirty-two appearances by the Blue Angels in 2020. This coming year's Maine Air Show has been designated one the bigger events for Maine's Bicentennial state-wide celebration.
Tickets are already on sale and they vary in price from $25 to $150.
