WATCH PETA’s Video Complaint Against Maine Fair Trade Lobster

Once again, the group called People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has lodged a complaint, this time against a business in Prospect Harbor.

The complaint against Maine Fair Trade Lobster that was recently received at the Hancock County District Attorney's Office and by the Gouldsboro Police Chief was accompanied by the above video, that PETA.org claims "captured workers dismembering conscious lobsters by tearing off their claws, puncturing their shells, and ripping their heads off."

Research had shown that lobsters have no central nervous system that would produce pain, although some scientists dispute that fact.  Peta has accused other Maine lobster processing plants of animal abuse in the past.
